Avoid abrasive pads, furniture polish, solvent cleaners, and vigorous rubbing when the finish is unknown. Do not immerse a resin figure or put it in a dishwasher. A stubborn mark is a reason to ask about the particular finish, rather than apply progressively stronger products.

Check the surroundings during routine dusting. Move the display if sunlight now reaches it, a nearby plant drips onto it, or a new appliance introduces heat. For storage, cushion the body and leave fragile projections free from pressure. Pack separate objects so they cannot knock together.
